1. What this is
The Revampify referral program pays a flat reward to people who point us at businesses with outdated websites. It is run by Daniel Bragg, doing business as Revampify, based in California, United States (mail: 1950 W. Corporate Way, PMB 27305, Anaheim, CA 92801). Joining costs nothing and obligates you to nothing: there are no quotas, no territories and no minimums. Submitting a lead through the form at revampifysolutions.com/refer, or telling us about a business by email, means you accept these terms for that lead.
These terms are a draft. They have not yet been reviewed by an attorney. Until they are, we will honor what they say and what the program page says; if the two ever disagree, the more generous reading wins.
2. What counts as a lead
A submission becomes a qualified lead when all of these are true:
- it identifies a real, operating business, with enough information for us to find it (a name and a city is usually enough);
- the business is new to us: not already in our pipeline, not already a customer, and not already in conversation with us. If a business you submit was already known to us, we will tell you so when we receive the submission rather than let you wait on a payout that cannot come;
- you are not the owner of the business and you did not submit your own employer at the direction of its owner. Owners who want a redesign can simply ask us directly; that path is free and does not need a middleman;
- the information in it was gathered lawfully and shared with honest intent.
First touch wins. If two people submit the same business, the earlier qualified submission holds the credit. A lead stays credited to you for twelve months from submission; if the business buys within that window, the deal is yours. After twelve months the credit lapses, and a fresh submission (by you or anyone) starts a fresh window.
3. What counts as a closed deal
A lead becomes a closed deal when the business pays us for a website redesign and the payment clears. The price they pay does not change your reward: whether they pay our published price, a discounted founding price, or something we negotiated privately, a closed deal earns the same flat $299.
Two things do not count as a closed deal:
- a build we gave away at no charge. No money in means no payout out. If a free build later turns into paid work covered by the next section, that can still close the deal;
- purchases of extras, upkeep subscriptions or deployment alone, without a redesign purchase. The program rewards new redesign customers, not line items.
Where a business we built for free goes on to pay us a negotiated price for that same build, that payment is a closed deal.
4. The payout
$299 per closed deal, flat. We pay after the client's payment has cleared to our account and, at our reasonable discretion, after any refund conversation we know to be open has ended. We aim to pay within 14 days of the payment clearing.
We pay by Zelle or bank transfer from our business account, to details you give us. Before your first payout we need a completed IRS Form W-9 from you; United States tax rules require it, and if we pay you $600 or more in a calendar year we will file a Form 1099-NEC reporting it. Your taxes on referral income are your own responsibility.
Clawback. If the client is refunded within 14 days of their purchase, the payout for that deal is owed back. In practice we net it against your next payout rather than ask you to return money; if there is no next payout, we may ask, and you agree to return it.
5. What you may not do
You are an independent referrer, not our employee, agent, partner or representative, and nothing in this program creates any of those relationships. Specifically, you may not:
- make promises on our behalf about price, scope, timeline or anything else. You do not have that authority, and we are not bound by anything you promise;
- present yourself as working for Revampify. "I know a company that does this" is accurate. "I am from Revampify" is not;
- spam, harass or mislead anyone to generate leads, or submit information about people or businesses that you obtained improperly;
- charge the business anything for making the introduction.
We may remove anyone from the program for breaking these rules. Payouts already earned on honest leads will still be paid.
6. One reward per deal
A closed deal earns exactly one referral reward. If you are an existing Revampify customer, our customer referral offer (12 months of The Upkeep at no charge) may also apply to you; where both could, you choose one, and we will ask rather than assume. Rewards never stack on a single deal, and a deal credited to one person under the first-touch rule cannot also be credited to another.
7. The program can change or end
We may change the reward amount, these terms, or end the program entirely, at any time, by updating this page. Changes apply going forward only: leads already submitted keep the terms that were posted when you submitted them, and anything already earned will be paid.
8. Law and getting in touch
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. The dispute process in our Terms of Service applies here too: email first, 30 days to sort it out, courts in California after that.
