Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect almost nothing: what you type into our contact form, and what Stripe needs to take a payment.

No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, no third-party scripts run on this website. There is nothing to opt out of because we did not put it there.

We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or add you to any list you did not ask for.

Before we contact a business we research it from public sources, the same way a customer would. Say the word and we delete what we hold.

Ask us for a copy of what we have about you, or ask us to delete it, and we will do it.

That box is a summary, not a substitute. The full terms are below and they are the ones that count.

1. Who is responsible

This site is run by Daniel Bragg, doing business as Revampify, based in California, United States. For anything on this page, including a request to see or delete what we hold about you, email hello@revampifysolutions.com or write to 731 W. Taft Ave., Orange, CA 92865.

2. What we collect

When you fill in the form on our website

Your name, your business name, your email address, your current website address if you have one, and whatever you write in the message box. You type all of it deliberately, and we ask for it so we can reply and take a look at your site.

When you email us

Your email address and whatever the message contains.

When you buy something

Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. What reaches us is the record of a completed payment: name, email, amount, and the last four digits of the card. We keep those records because tax rules require us to.

When you visit a page

This site is a set of static files served by GitHub Pages. GitHub records standard server information such as IP addresses to serve pages and stop abuse, under GitHub's privacy statement. We do not receive that data and we cannot look at it.

We run no analytics on this website. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no heat maps, no third-party scripts and no cookies set by us. This is why you were not shown a cookie banner: there was nothing to ask you about. If we ever add measurement, it will be a privacy respecting tool that does not track people across sites, and this page will say so before it goes live.

Businesses we research before making contact

Our business works by rebuilding a site before asking anyone whether they want it. To do that we look at publicly available information about businesses: their website, their menu and prices, their public listings and business contact details such as a published address, phone number or email. We use it to judge whether a site needs work and to build a redesign of it.

This is business information, gathered from public sources, and we do not build profiles of individuals, buy contact lists or use tracking services to find personal details. If you are a business we contacted and you would rather we held nothing about you, email us and we will delete it, whether or not you buy anything. We will not contact you again.

3. Why we hold it, and for how long

Enquiries and correspondence are kept so we can carry on the conversation and remember what was agreed. If an enquiry does not turn into work, we delete it within two years. Records connected to a purchase are kept for seven years, because tax and accounting rules require it. Research about a business we never contacted, or that told us no, is deleted within one year.

We do not use anything you send us to train machine learning models, and we do not sell, rent or trade it.

4. Who else touches it

We keep the list of companies involved deliberately short. Each one handles a specific job and is bound by its own agreement with us.

  • Formspree receives and forwards the contact form, then emails it to us.
  • Stripe processes payments and holds the card details we never see.
  • Porkbun provides our domain and email hosting, and Google delivers the mailbox those messages arrive in.
  • GitHub hosts this website and the code behind it.

We may also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. If Revampify were ever sold or transferred, information would move with it and this policy would continue to apply until you were told otherwise.

5. Your rights

Wherever you are, and whether or not a particular law technically applies to a business our size, we will honor these requests:

  • a copy of what we hold about you;
  • correction of anything wrong;
  • deletion of what we hold, unless we are legally required to keep it;
  • an end to any contact from us;
  • an explanation of where something came from.

Email hello@revampifysolutions.com and we will deal with it within 30 days. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are used in California law, and we never have. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.

6. Keeping it safe

Access is limited to one person. Accounts are protected with strong unique passwords and two factor authentication, and information travels to this site and to our providers over encrypted connections.

No one can promise perfect security, and we are not going to. If a breach ever affected your information, we would tell you promptly and plainly, and tell you what to do about it.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change materially affects information we already hold about you, we will email you rather than quietly editing the page.

Our terms of service cover everything else about working with us.
